The rest of the team arrive- Monday 9th

It took a lot of planning to organise this trip. Mika (from Finland) and I had been talking about it for quite a while. Mika had been to Kellog once before, and so he knew some people there. On the ground in Siberia I organised all the tickets and brought Yura into the mix. I organised the trip with the assistance of Albert, a helicopter pilot, who was able to find out for me when the flights run, as the information was impossible to find out in Krasnoyarsk.

Mika and Samuli arrived from Finland on Monday the 9th. We were on a tight schedule, this was the earliest they could arrive. The boat going north had already left Krasnoyarsk at 7am. Their plane arrived at 9am.


Samuli came with his guitar which was a real blessing. Mika and Samuli prepared some Psalms and kids songs in the Russian language before arriving.


I first met Mika two years ago when he was traveling through Novosibirsk with a couple other Finnish men. It was only five days after we had arrived in the country.
