"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Further exploring

As I have already mentioned, it is far easier to explore in the warmer weather. The weather has cooled off a bit this week, but it still didn't stop an evening family walk through the forest. We took a path that we haven't been down before and discovered some fun things.

This is a new flower this Spring. It looks more orange, so hopefully soon the forest floor will have a third colour to add to the yellow and purple.

At the end of the path, we discovered a new play ground. Abigail had fun sitting on a big swing all by herself (see her blog), while we watched her. There was also a bunch of kids playing a game of tag on some play equipment. The person who was it had to close their eyes. To catch someone they had to hold on to them and name who it was. Quite a complicated and entertaining game to watch.

The other shots are just more forest shots from a fresh perspective. They may be more interesting to me than to you the reader.

Doesn't it just make you want to jump in the car and go for a drive? If we had one, that is. I love the mixture of colours, with the light and dark greens. It is particularly spectacular when the sun shines on the leaves.

Beautiful photographs - could really sense the calm and pleasure of an evening family walk. You are so fortunate to be so close to the forest like that.
