"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

BBQ! Or that's Shashlik in Russian

Mom and Dad have been treated to some wonderful September Siberian weather. This has allowed us to go for shashlik in the forest. Shashlik is the Russian equivalent of a bbq. It involves cooking meat over the fire (hot coals).

PJ is enjoying the space to run around.

The coal (or burnt wood) comes ready in paper bags in the supermarket. This way building a fire is much quicker. There are usually some bricks lying around to build up high enough to rest the grill on.
