"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Under warranty

We bought a couch bed a little while back. Unfortunately two of the legs have broken. Fortunately it is under warranty. Unfortunately the man who is supposed to come and fix it is dragging his heels a bit. He did not come today for the third day running. Ahhh, Russian efficiency. You can tell I am really starting to settle in though, because so far I am not tearing my hair our over this one.
I'm becoming "one of them, one of them, one of them........"

The legs are completely bent and cannot be fixed. It is not easy to find replacements ourselves. We went to the shop to talk about replacement legs, and then realised we have a warranty. It's just getting a bit silly that four days later, one one has come yet.

Good news. It was fixed yesterday. The guy was really friendly and talkative. Just took him a week to get here. Apparently he was digging his potaoes while the good weather lasted!

Now I understand what?! That people here are slow like in Saskatchewan? :)

Just joking.

The shop said he would come on Friday or Monday. He did not come until the following Thursday. He is not a farmer that has millions riding on his crop. I think he knew he was late.

It was under warranty, we didn't want to mess with it.
