You may have heard reports in the news over the last few years that there have been racial attacks in Russia. Many people in society do not like others from a different race or colour. This is a bigger problem than in Australia. People have been killed in this country. Every time they have got off very lightly and never been prosecuted for inciting racial hatred. Even in this city some central Asians were bashed in a market last year.
On a construction site downtown this "art" appeared. Notice the presence of the swas--tika and mr Hit--ler.
Putin has said that if people are opposed to this violence that people in society should stand up against it.
This art may be somebody's method of doing that. But, you can't fight violence with violence, so I find it strange. It seems mysterious, yet possibly anti-neo na--zi.

Pasha, You would have to notice, that all those graffiti are rather anti-fascist - "follow your leader" and Hitler, blowing his head off with a handgun (which is the official version of the end of his life). Although your comment that Russia has a nationalism and recism problem (western Russia more so) is quite true to life. Even Lenin wrote about the Russian shovinism, a patronising attitude of the great Russia towards the surrounding states, to whom Russia is the illuminator, the big brother.
