"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

End of the week

In some ways it is really the end of the last three weeks. I had a week away in Tuva, and then when I came back we immediately had guests, who were staying with us indefinitely. They moved on, on Thursday. In some ways it was disappointing to see them move on, but we were certainly glad to have some space where our little family could just let out hair down and reconnect.
Last night we had student club again. Siberian peoples are unpredictable and some of the people we hoped would come and who intended to be here, were not. Nevertheless we decided to start our Alpha course, with the introductory session, for the benefit of those that did come. We hope that more students will benefit from the course over the next number of weeks. Melody and I did the course back in Australia a few years ago. We are again reminded of how high the quality is in the Alpha course. We are confident that it will help all those that are searching to make good decisions. Please remember them in intercession.
