"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Train to Khakassia

Yesterday we left Krasnoyarsk and caught a day time train down to Khakassia to visit a family in the same org as us. As it was a day time train we did not have beds. But the first class tickets were not a lot more expensive and a lot more comfortable. We passed through the mountains in the southern Krasnoyarsk region, which was quite empty of population. All in all it was an enjoyable day and a chance to catch up on some reading.

We will spend the next four days with Wolfgang and his family meeting some of their Khakass Хакас (pronounced Hakass) friends and learning about Khakass culture. We will then catch the train back to Krasnoyarsk and spend some time with friends there and making some more connections with the Vineyard fellowship.
