On the River Ob


Siberia is made up of large rivers that at certain parts can be up to 20 kms wide. At this point the river is not so wide. It was fun to go on a short one hour cruise. June 1st is a day in Russia to honour children. A trip was organised for some children from the Baptist Chs and from the Orphanage.
We met some expats that we had not met before. It will be good to get to know some of them and find out what they are doing here. One family lived in Magadan for a year and found it too hard so they have moved down south to the Big Smoke.
We have been invited in a trip a year from now to go uo the Yenisey River to the far north. The trip would take four to five days each way.
