3-1!


Sport is a big part of an Aussie's life. Sport is not as big in many countries of the world as it is in Australia. At least I can get to watch the world cup here in Russia. Tonight was a momentous occasion in Australian sport when the Socceroos pulled off the first win ever for Australia at the Soccer world cup. The result: 3-1 over Japan.
I shall be watching the next games. Hopefully the antenna will hold out.

Bring on Brazil.

There are a number of British people who live here. You wouldn't believe how much they still don't believe that Australia are any good. One of them even told me he thought that Japan played a more technical game. Big deal! 3-1!!!
