"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

More storms in Saskatchewan

The weather has been all over the shop in the last number of weeks. Aside from copious amounts of rain (which has mostly cleared up) there have been tornadoes and many a thunder storm. I have even discovered tornado chasers who stream live from their cars (must have a good data plan I guess).
This week there were some more tornado warnings. The potential tornadoes were downgraded to thunder storms.
The Prairies are remarkably flat. This means that a storm can be seen from a long distance. The brunt of the storm did not hit us in Yorkton where we were staying. There was a good amount of rain, but the lightning was not striking very close. Still, our power did go out. So we opened the curtains and watched the lightning storm right from the living room window. There was plenty of sheet lightning that lit up the sky continually. Most of the sheet lightning does not come through on the iphone video, but some of the really bright flashes do.

Yorkton, not by daylight, but by lightning.
