"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Evenki lessons

Every Saturday morning we go off to our Evenki friend's house for our Evenki lesson.  We catch a taxi for a short drive.  It cost us about $6 this morning.  The bus takes us home.  We have the lesson with Katya and her two adult children.  Our whole family comes along, the kids play while we have our lesson.  Hey, it's how we do things in our family.  We're very inefficient, but very relational, and everyone loves little kids.
Today Yura came with us, and there were a couple extra relatives at Katya's house, who will probably be living there for quite some time.  I've never hung out with so many Evenki people all at one time (sure I have with Ket and Tuvans and Khakass, but not so many Evenki all at once), it was really nice.
It really feels like we are under way, and we have plenty of clues of the adventures yet to come for us.

And for your first Evenki lesson, press on the video below.....
