Harvest is nearly finished on the Prairies. The second monday in October in Canada is Thanksgiving, to celebrate the end of harvest. We have some friends who have finished, while others still have a lot of work to do. Borden celebrates the harvest every year by re-enacting the harvest from previous generations with older equipment, even using equipment the way the Pioneers did in the early 1900s. (Saskatchewan was only settled at the start of the 20th century.)

These horses are quite beautiful and strong.

What a novel way to sell a horse, I don't think I've ever seen this before.

Our good friend Peggy who has all but finished harvest.

This is not actually a John Deere, but a replica this man built in 2003

Wheat, glorious wheat....

Bringing in the sheaves....
