Melody had mentioned to me a couple months ago that she had seen a lady giving reindeer rides to kids. Occasionally she turns up with her reindeer and charges 100 rubles for a ride. Abigail sat for a little and we paid 50 rubles, but we were in a hurry so I could catch the train to Abakan on the way to Tuva. It was fun getting this close to a reindeer, when it is something would expect to see in the north but certainly not in the city.

that would be an interesying experience. They sure seem smaller thna my mind would portray them.
