"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

(The thermometer in our team mate's window).

I had to walk ten minutes to the shops today to get money from the ATM, because our rent was due. O that I didn't have to.

That's cool!
"Oh that I didn't have to."
Well, if you were living on the street you wouldn't have to... what a blessing that you have a warm flat. Keep it up (bragging about the cold) and you'll soon qualify as a real Siberian! (Or a Canadian stubble jumper.)

That's real weather. When is it cold enough for your spit to freeze in mid-air?

I don't know, but much colder. Perhaps that is a bit of an urban myth.
