Happy Birthday Melody!

April 12th is Melody's birthday, Melody and I seem to have the tradition of having holidays around our birthday times. We took some time by ourselves in the seaside town of Kusadasi, sipping apple tea with the smell of salt water air and the sound of waves; ahh the Mediterranean climate, I love it.




We also took in some shopping. For Melody we picked up a set of crystal apple tea glasses (they are cute- sorry but they are packed away in bubble wrap- no picture here) and then some Turkish quality towels (much cheaper and much higher quality than in Russia). By the way, how do you clean a Turkish rug? The look on this ladies face says "what, you're telling me you don't wash your rugs where you come from?" You got it lady.
