Our good friend Veltsu. Veltsu takes regular trips to visit a prison in Murmansk, by the northern border of Finland. We love Veltsu, he has a very happy personality and is a real softy. He knows more Russian than English (and is taking a class once a week), so we actually converse in Russian.
There are many good ideas around the world that never get borrowed in other countries. Here's a good one- this fenced off area is a park exclusively for dogs to run around in. I think that's fantastic. I can't count the number of times I have felt threatened by dogs off their leash in a park in Australia.
And look- a popper scooper bin, complete with spades.
We went for a nice walk and discovered a bunch of older houses.
Maybe I should take something back about everything being grey- there is also red and yellow at times. :)
