We had a 350km drive to make to Turku. Turku is the city where the ferry leaves from to go to Sweden. We expected the drive to take around 4 hours. By the time we got away in the morning it was 10:30am. It seemed like we had plenty of time. We didn't reach Turku until after 5pm. Sure, we took a couple of breaks, but the going was really slow. So often it felt like we would get up to 100 km/h and then a couple minutes later have to slow down to 80 or even 60, due to passing through towns or crossroads. There were plenty of times we got stuck behind slower vehicles on the road too.

Then after making sure we knew where the ferry left, we had another 1 hr 45 min drive to our place to sleep that night. We stayed with an older couple I had met through a ministry I have connections with. This meant we had to leave at 6am to make the ferry by 7:45am in the morning. We got delayed in the morning and only left at 6:15am. It was a stressful drive to get to the ferry in time...
