"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

More Spring Joy

The woodpeckers may sit in one spot in the tree, but some of the smaller birds are much harder to catch! The zoom lens and manual focus did make it easier to shoot the woodpecker than in the past.

These purple flowers are always the first to appear in the forest. They shoot up so quickly. I didn't see any on Tuesday, and suddenly on Wednesday there they were!

The yellow flowers come in second, there were only a handful that I could see.

The flowers are lovely and must be a delight to see after winter.

It is wonderful to observe how the woodpeckers are camourflaged apart from the red shade. A lovely photo of Abigail.
