Tidbits

So the pothole has been filled in..... for now. A day or two later we noticed a crack opening up where the sinkhole had been twice previously. Wonder if this fill will last....


The other day was Misha the Bear's 30th birthday. Misha was the mascot for the 1980 Moscow Olympics. I couldn't tell you what the Melbourne (1956) or Sydney (2000) mascots were. But Misha 1980 lives on. In 2014 Sochi, Russia (in the south of all places where it barely gets cold by the Black Sea), will host the Winter Olympics.
