"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

West Coast by 1 point

Isn't that old news? Well not for me. A friend back in Australia recorded the Grand Final for me. I have been boycotting the news. He sent it on dvd. Instead of watching it by myself we had a Grand Final party. I was disappointed that the Swans lost, but it was a close game. The Swans never had the lead all day though, and that was their problem.

We invited over three British friends and one American. They all enjoyed seeing Aussie Rules, some of them for the first time.

Melody made some fantastic meat pies and lamingtons. It was just a bit cold for a bbq. We had a lot of fun and found a way to continue the Grand Final tradition.
