Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. Melody and I were married on October 12th, 2002 in Saskatoon, Canada. Our tradition has been to go away for a few days each anniversary. We even did that last year with Abigail. But this year we just don't feel that we know our way around Siberia yet to confidently go away somewhere.
So last night we were able to have a baby sitter. We went and saw a classical concert in the city centre. Concerts, Opera, Ballet etc are a big part of Russian culture, but still very cheap. Our tickets cost $5, but it still felt special.
We enjoyed ourselves, but next year maybe we will go to the Altai mountains.
