"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

New bunk bed

Our family is growing! We are expecting our third child in March. In a Russian apartment this just means squeezing more into the same amount of space (or perhaps creating more space). We decided to create at some more space by buying a bunk bed. This set us back $600. (But I've never bought a bunk bed in Australia so I have no comparison.)

We ordered the bunk bed and it arrived a couple of days later in two boxes weighing a total of 146 kgs. We paid the delivery guys an extra 400 rubles to bring them up to our apartment- that's some heavy lifting!
Then later the same day a different guy came around to put the bed together for us. It looked very complicated, and I am glad we paid him the 700 rubles to do the job. He worked pretty quickly, it took him about half an hour. It would have taken us hours, if we succeeded at all.

Here is Abigail's new bed spread. It's a picture of Masha i Medved',  (Masha and the Bear) a popular kids tv show in Russia. PJ has the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh for his bed cover.
