"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Emelgesem's dacha

We have known Galina a few years now. A while back Melody visited her at the hospital and prayed for her. At the time she said, "If God is going to hear your prayer you better use my real name." That was when Melody learnt that Galina has been her Russian name much of her life but she had been shy about her name given by her parents.
The other day was the first time we had been to Galina's dacha. This is probably due to the fact that we bought our car during the last year and couldn't get there in the past. Her dacha is quite beautiful, the garden being full of flowers and vegetables.
During our time there Galina asked us if we would call her by her name Emelgesem. This seems quite a break through, that this old lady is allowing her childlike nature to come forward.
Melody shared the John 4 story wonderfully. Both Emelgesem and he daughter Snezhana were on the edge of their seats as Melody told it.
