"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

Farewell to Novosibirsk friends

We have made a number of friends and acquaintances in Novosibirsk. We are moving so quickly that frankly it is really hard to say goodbye to all the acquaintances we have, as we can not get to them that quickly. We had a small farewell last night. A handful of friends came. Others were tied up with the beginning of the Discipleship School year.
A major disappointment for us is that our Tuvan student friends have not appeared yet before their classes which start on Monday. We really hope to see them at church tomorrow. I had really hoped to see my best friend Aidys, before we leave. That may not happen, for which I am quite sad.
We will most definitely come back to see these people in a few months, but some how that will not replace a proper good bye.
