More water life

I am really enjoying taking in the beauty of the prairies, that we drive by so often, living in the countryside.

One of the larger sloughs, that is by the side of the highway.


We managed to drive around the other side and get a better look. The prairies as a rule are quite flat. The joke is that you can see your dog running away for days. I think that is truer of southern Saskatchewan. There are a few mild rolling hills up around here, but quite flat by Melbourne standards.


If you look closely, you can see one of the ducks in flight.
