"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."- St. Peter. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Jesus.

On the way

Well God is very good and has been taking great care of us. I'd like to share a coupe of examples with you of how he was taking care of every detail just before we left Canada.
1) I had tried to buy Euros in Saskatoon for our time in Frankfurt. They would not have been ordered in time for our departure. Sure enough though God knew our needs and some Euros arrived in the mail the day before we left.
2) The van that Melody's parents were going to take us to Calgary in (the departure city for our flight) broke down two days before we left. We were going to be with out a way to get to our flight. A very nice lady in Borden lent us her mini van which is quite new and comfortable. God provided wheels to get us to Calgary at the last minute and in style too.

There are countless examples of how God knows our every need.

We are now in Frankfurt and have met up with and old friend of Melody's from Bible school in Sweden many years ago. Three days away from our arrival in Novosibirsk and the start of our new family life there.

Oh, and Abigail slept very well on the plane from Calgary to Frankfurt.
